New to the Forum, but not the Hobby

I have been in the hobby since I was 9. Mainly freshwater, and one epically disastrous adventure with Saltwater in the early 2000's.

Getting back into the hobby again after a bit of a 3 year hiatus but unfortunately on the Freshwater side of things. The reason I am here is that I am getting a Custom Waterbox aquarium and really need some help with plumbing.

I decided to opt out of the plumbing due to my custom configuration and it seems the userbase here is more than knowledgeable when it comes such matters, so, here I am.

Maybe one day I will return (the allure of some of your setups is enough to make one think really hard on direction one should take). Though my original foray, I was literally the Old MacDonald of Algae farming.
