Pretty new to the hobby I was testing my reefs parameters and was just curious what I can do to help my calcium and magnesium and to lower my alkalinity? I’ve already got coral in the 40 long and they don’t look too well! I cycled the tank with the wrong salt and didn’t use reef salt and just switched two days ago to reef salt since I wasn’t aware! Here are the tests

Ph 7.8
Phosphate 0.03
Salinity 1.028
Ammonia 0.02 ppm
Nitrate hr 2.9
Magnesium 1003
Calcium 277
Alkalinity 12.1

Assuming you performed a 100% water change with the appropriate salt, your calcium measurement seems questionable.

Only did about 30 percent water change wanted to take it slow since my nitrates are at 0 now
