Hello all and thank you for all the information presented here. I have a Biocube 16 and trying saltwater. I'm 3 months in now. I have lost already 2 clowns, 5 of my CUC. I had nitrite problems, now that seems under control but the ph got too high and took put my CUC. Testing the water with saltwater master test kit, and today, even after water changes, start biobloom stuff, everything is out of whack. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Heading for another water change to clean up some mold looking stuff left from the already wafers. Any suggestions would be great.

Welcome to R2R! Right now it looks like you are in the uglies. If you had Nitrite issues then it sounds like you did not cycle long enough which could also explain the fish loss. Make sure your Ammonia and Nitrite are zero before you add any more livestock. When you do add, add slowly only one or two organisms at a time allowing at least several days between adds to allow your bio-filtration time to catch up.

Welcome, glad you are here! I highly recommend you watch BRS 52 weeks of reefing on YouTube and this is a great book written by one of our members here. This will turn around soo. Hang in there and go slow.

Slow down and let the tank cycle. Too many changes at once. Reefing is about patience and very slow changes.
