Can anybody id this please. Is it a wound ? Is it infected or is it a parasire?
And if one of the above is there a recomended treatment (reef lps tank with 5 cleaner shrimps

Yes he is eating and looks otherwise normal. Was hiding as part of the transportation shock. However getting less and less shy by the minute.

Is it stark white like that in real life? When I see white growths on a fin and the adjacent body at the same time, I get to thinking about Lymphocystis, a mild viral disease.

It is white but looks rather more a lesion than a growth, and the fin and body lesion seem "connected". Never heard about this double strand DNA virus. I will update
