Tried my hand at wet sanding. Used drill attachment. Started with 400, then on to 600, 800, 1000, 2000 and 3000 sandpaper. Lastly, novus 2. Did the top eurobrace portion of the tank as an experiment piece of sorts.

Long story short... I didn’t like the quality of my wet sanding. You can still see swirl marks on the eurobrace. I'd imagine might be one of a few different reasons... maybe because I used a drill and not a random orbital sander etc...

Anyway I moved onto a foam attachment for the drill and used novus 2 on the inside of the tank. Then moved it back onto the stand. Finally, novus 2 on the face of the tank.

Slow progress but... figured out a light mounting system of sorts. 1" aluminum bars from home depot. Cut and attached to back of stand. 72" bar mounted across on cheap TV mounts. Somewhat flexible movable... should suffice for 4 xr15 lights.

Update:

4xr15s g5 blue
1" Aluminum Bar 72" long
Two TV arm mounts, mounted onto 1" aluminum bar to tank. Allows for some flexibility.

Yay 3d printers! As part of the "let me avoid a total rats nest if cables" I decided to printers these power brick holders. 4 mp40 and 4 xr15 power bricks add a good amount of bulk on the outlets real quick. That's without heaters, return pump, skimmer, uv, doser, trident etc plugged in!

Nothing like almost done and then running into a few issues. I did all the wire management only to find out one of the eb832 doesn't work. No power to the outlets. Assuming relay issue per searching this forum.

Power supply to one xr15 doesn't work... need to order that too.

Very nice . I’ve recently done the upgrade into the acrylic 90 in the living room. Loving the extra space.
