I have a Octopus HOB BH-100F skimmer collecting dust and I have been wanting to experiment with ozone.

The Octopus seems good for the task since it has compartments to put carbon in, but I dunno yet if it is a good idea.

I have some questions I want to ask you.

Would it be good idea to add biospheres like the real ozone reactors use to maximize contact?
Is the hose that is plugged in the silencer the one that is replaced with a ozone proof hose and goes directly to the ozone unit?

Thank you

Thanks Barb and Tonya for your support. I guess knowing if this specific skimmer will work as reactor (I know not as near as efficient as a special made reactor but maybe good for experimenting with ozone) is not easy since requires someone to be familiar with ozone and the hob octopus.

Thank you :)
