We brought home a bunch of emerald crabs a couple of days ago to help with our hair algae problem. We have one particular crab who has been on his back all morning quite literally feeding himself on his back. We thought he might’ve been stuck so we flipped him back over and he proceeded to immediately flip himself back to his back. Is he molting? What exactly is he doing? P.S I don’t knock his hustle of laying down smacking but I wanna make sure he’s okay lol. Video attached of him just casually chilling and eating. Everyone else is fine and another one has successfully molted already.

Bump.

Any update on this fellow?

Doesn't look like hes trying to move his back legs and the movement is a bit erratic..
