I’m heading to reefapalooza orlando this weekend. Question about logistics… I live about 4 hours away and am staying at the hotel. If I buy a coral Saturday AM, what do I do with it until I get home? Will it survive in a bag in my room until I get home 18 hours later? Will the vendors hold it in their tank overnight so I can pick it up Sunday before I drive home? Do I need to bring a cooler or bag or anything?

Yes most will hold it.

Some people bring a small tank or holding bin and set it up in the hotel with a heater and small power head.

But most all will hold it for you.

When traveling and buying coral I always brought a heater for either the sink or tub in the hotel and a couple gallons of established tank water in case they needed a 50/50. Might sound a little ghetto but it works with little effort.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
