LoLz.. this is sequel to the PE thread.. I know that there's so many new palys coming out now and there's the favorites like Purple Deaths... Please post your favorite palys (big polyps)....

here's what I know so far that came out this year..

1. Lunar Eclipse
2. Midnight Palys
3. Dungenous Palys
4. Joker Palys
5. Mellow Yellows
6. LookAlike AOG
7. Pink Elephants/Rasberry Limeades (wild ones that can go either way)

i will need more back up proof on this one, but my pink elephants started with a yellow slit mouth, but it has definitly developed into a true green slit mouth, and also has the white bands on the outside of the polyp when viewed closed up.

i'm thinking the pink elephant is actually zoanthid gigantus, and is technically a PE. i will have to get some pics up soon as i just got internet up at home :)

twon8 will also be able to help with a pic prob

I completely agree. My elephants have a green slit mouth and also have the white bands.

I believe these are the only Palys I have, anyone have a "Paly-not-a-zoa ID for Dummies" tip? A few Palys I see still look like zoas to me :oops:

Sure let me see this thread, and make me want more palys. It was ok i had thought i had enough, and when i see all the other cool stuff it says to me i am not done yet. :( LOL

Very nice palys all.I dont have a ton of the fancy ones but those marilyn monroes and the orange ones are awesome.

I picked these up today at my lfs from a trade i made.They had them under 10k lighting so im anxious to see what color they will become under my 14k.BTW these are just plane jane right now.
