Hi reefers ,

Since 4 days i have a torch in my system with 3 heads , only after a day it seems 1 head wont fully extend anymore .
There werent any big changes in the system apart from a minor change in flow route .

Where i got it from has a higher dkh , al the rest of parameters the same .

My parameters as followed '
PH - 8.45
KH - 8.9
Ca - 430
MG - 1350
Salinity - 1.025-1.026
Po4 - 0.03
No3 - 15 ppm
Degrees celcius - 24.5

I did filter shortly over gfo an carbon , i am dosing smal portions of jodium/iodine and manganese to replenish what was lost due to carbon filtering .

What would be the better choice , some patience or some change in placement or any other ?

Thx

I refer to a video of the torch for reference .

Thanks in advance .

It looks like good flow for it and the other two heads seem happy. I wouldn’t make any adjustments and observe for 24 hours as long as nothing catastrophic seemed to be happening. Then I’d reassess from there.

It is pretty high up on your rocks. How does the previous lighting compare? Maybe it’s a little upset due to new flow pattern, maybe it’s adjusting to new lighting. Maybe that head got some minor injury in mounting or transport. Doesn’t look like there’s anything wrong in your pic per se.

As i did not yet used a par meter i cannot talk in specific numbers of the lighting .
I can tell i am using 2x red sea 90's at 75% blue / 20 % white ramping up and down for a period of 11 hours .

So i conclusion would be patience for now .
