My pH level is around 7.8

I've started using Reef Microbe-Lift pH increase to raise it, on the instructions/dosage it just states add 5ml per 100 litres of water to in-crease the pH value by 0.2 can I keep adding it during the day to increase or do I need to wait days/weeks to add more?

I’m guessing this product will send your alkalinity high. Do you measure alkalinity?

Nope, I don't measure that, my test kit just has pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. I only have soft corals.

I would still test it in a softy tank occasionally as Alk can get used by coralline and other things. If Alk is ok, then there are other ways to try to increase pH, that are less problematic.

IMO I would ignore measuring ph .
I haven’t tested ph in years .
it is supposed to fluctuate naturally throughout the day and night .

for stability . Measure pick up a alk test kit other than api brand
Test at the same time every day

Stop dosing it. There's no chemical that can boost pH and not boost alkalinity.

The pH part of it is just an alkalinity supplement, and not even the most effective one to boost pH relative to how much alkalinity it adds.

Alkalinity is likely to get excessively high without a great improvement in pH.

I almost think these products should be banned from our hobby. So many people end up using these for the wrong reasons. I can't even think there is a right reason to use this for pH adjustment
