So I have what I believe is a tiny Cycloseris plate coming in on a plug

My research tells me these corals like to move around.

Should I pop it off it's plug and if so how would you do it?

I was just thinking of wedging a blade between the frag and the plug. Thoughts?

Pic is from the vendor of the coral I purchased:

I don't think they're supposed to be glued down. I've always received them loose. Perhaps someone else can weigh in.

Well I hope mine is loose, but it looks like it is on a plug in the pic.

If it's on a frag plug, it's likely an anthocaulus of a Heliofungia fralinae, not a Cycloseris. Anthocauli are usually attached, and will pop off the frag plug on their own.
This is hugely helpful. Thank you.

Wow ! That is beautiful!! What is name for that coral, if you don't mind me asking.
Agent Orange Plate Coral is its trade name with TSA.
They told me it was a Cycloseris, but their farmers might not know it's actual species.
It matters little as Fugia, Cycloseris, and Heliofungia all seem to have the same or very similar care requirements as far as I can tell.
