I am in the process of pluming in a 93 to my system, here are some pictures of the scape - I wanted depth and a lot of growing area for SPS yet a open "court yard" I will be doing a small island in the front center.

The back arch is about 24" across and they come about 18" on each side.

Since the pictures I added some branches to the front "arms"

Here’s mine. It’s Caribsea Liferock with TLF Stax Rock subbing for sand as the substrate. I’m contemplating removing a piece or two of the liferock so this likely isn’t the final product. Not wet yet so changes can still be easily made.

YAY! Please do. I'm appreciating all of you! Advice, others experiences & etc.. the more the better!

Ok so the tank that has the clowns... The rocks are live and I am going to take them out and rework them to try and get a nice cave for the middle, it will be a 1 entrance cave for a diamond goby in the future. The tank looks like crap because I had the Hawaii live sand. it was a detritus magnent and looked horrid so I sucked out as much as I could without stressing my clowns. They did bite me 30+times tho lol. Also I dont think a fluval 13.5 has any positives for flow and biological filtration. Had nothing but trouble!

So the rest of the rocks. On the left the pillar... I didnt like the blob I had before so I broke off half, and bought two flat cuts. Should be great for acropora.

On the right I am leaning towards ZOAS.. But like anything I do with this 40 I can't make up my mind. Either way the cycle is going so I have a lot of time.

I'm done now :)

I have never heard of TLF Stax Rock subbing. Pros & cons?

I don’t know yet as I haven’t put water in the tank. I did this because I wanted to run my flow pumps down low in the tank and I didn’t want to create sand storms. I don’t like the bare bottom look and I saw these rocks and thought, why not try it out. Might end up being a detritus trap but I figure with a turkey baster, a good clean up crew and a lot of flow hopefully it’ll be ok. If not I can always take out the pieces of rock and put in sand. I do really like the concept of the Stax rock and if I had it to do over I would get another 40 pounds and just go to town building arches, caves and overhangs and also attach it to the back wall. I still might but that’s about $200 worth of Liferock in there now and I don’t know what I’d do with it if it doesn’t go in this tank, I’m not planning any other builds.

Did this scape in a 90 last weekend, I’m doing LPS and softies, no SPS so I opted for a little more height in the structure. I’m stocking wrasses so lots of caves and swim throughs. Rock is mainly BRS Fiji dry, structure on the left is 2 pieces of BRS dry complex multi branching, and the structure on the right has 2 pieces of BRS dry plate. Pics are from front (main viewing from living room) and left side (main viewing from rest of house). Water is still a little cloudy.
