Looking for some plumbing guidance!

I think I’m going to run three or four 1.5 inch pvc lines from under my aquarium down and over to the other side of this new wall … but do I drill through all these floor joists highlighted in blue?!

I can’t quite make out where stuff is going, drilling holes in the TJIs should be fine. I would look up the general spec for the size that you have and follow the guidelines if you have concerns.

You typically want holes close to the center and adjacent holes should be at least 2 diameters apart.

That said, the basement is unfinished, why not just run them down under the top plate of the stud wall?

Yeah that was kinda my thought too - I do wonder if that sets me up for more issues down the line should we finish the basement at any time

You can always redo the plumbing. That said, the holes in the TJIs (I-joist in generic terms) should not be a problem.
