I have some soft silicone tubing that I am going to be using from brs. Thinking about the issues where these can build up algae, I see some black polyurethane wire loom covers that are split and could fit over the silicone nicely.

Curious if anyone knows if these would be safe if they were long term submerged in the sump?

I, personally, would risk it. I’d also worry about buildup between the loom and tubing.
