Hey guys, thought I'd just ask the hive mind of reefers if they have any input on this!

This is my female Percula Clownfish. Probably just over a year old, got her and her mate very small.

Both fish were the first fish in the system, 2 month QT and copper based treatment prior to going in DT, That was almost exactly a year ago.
Since then, 4 other fish have been added (Bangai, lawnmower blenny, sixline, and a orange spotted goby). All QT'd for at LEAST 1 month before going into Display tank.

I've never seen any fish, let alone the clowns with any issues. This issue is only on my female too. Male is perfectly clear.

I am ASSUMING based on photos and info I can find online, that its not ich or brook.
Nothing seems to be stuck, growing, etc.
It literally just looks on close inspection like 5-10 of her scales have been bent up. The white spots are just evidence of light shining across the bent scales.

She is eating well, hasn't been rubbing on anything that I've seen, and hasn't been going to the cleaner shrimp that I've seen.

Alk - 10
Nitrate - 10
Phosphate - 0.05
Calcium - 480
Mag - 1400
Temp - 78.5
Salinity - 34.5ppt

So, now you have all the info, anything I should worry about or does it look like a standard bump and bruise situation?

Thanks in advance!

Some follow up questions:

Are the spots on both sides, or just the left?
When did you add the last animal to the tank?

It's not ich or Brooklynella, looks like missing scales to me.

Thanks.

Just left side.
Last fish to be added was the sixline (it's about 1/2 inch long, tiny.) And that was almost 2 months ago.

Definitely looks as far as I can tell like damaged or missing scales, now I'm just wondering the cause and if I need to do something.

I do not think it is a disease issue. Could be getting picked on by another fish - some six lined wrasse can be a bit obnoxious. The chance of you seeing anything happen is minimal - while you're watching the fish, they're watching you, and besides, if you are talking five bits, even over a day, you'd never see it happen.

Oh, but I forgot one question - how long has the fish had the spots?

That was my feeling too. I appreciate the input!

Only noticed today, but didn't look very closely yesterday. So probably in the last 48 hours or so.

I'll keep an eye on it and monitor the situation. Thank you!

Nothing likely of effect but your mag-CA-Alk are all high

Recommended: alk 8-9 . . . . . Mag 1300 ,,,,,,,,,, CA 450

It looks like but is not quite dropsy. Im thinking abdominal swelling or bloating which is usually a sign of a bladder infection. May be time to quarantine and try this:
- 5 minute freshwater dip.
- 60 minute bath with 5ml of Acriflavin.
- 5 minute freshwater dip.
- Place it back into the QT tank and dosed 1/4 teaspoon of Chloroquine Phosphate and 40mg of Furan-2 or even erythromycin based and is a gram-positive bacteria treatment.

@Jay Hemdal - what do you think?

Just wanted to update you, Jay!
Everything looks back to normal 9 days later. Marks went away within a couple of days and haven't seen any other changes. I can only imagine there was some fighting going on or something, but haven't noticed anything directly.

All seems well!

Thank you for the help!
