This pack is perhaps the most ideal collection I have ever put together for the hobbyist looking to add some colorful SPS to their tank for the very first time. All of these were cut weeks ago, and are encrusted well enough to ship today.

If you have been thinking about taking that leap into the world of small polyps, this is without a doubt the pack for you. At roughly 25.00 a frag, you will not find a better deal on healthy and established, captive grown SPS frags.

Here's what we got. Presented in true to life coloration as always.

249.00 shipped

  1. BC Xmas
  2. Poletti Yellow tip Austera
  3. Forest Fire Digi
  4. Garf Bonsai
  5. Sunrise Milli
  6. UWW Rainbow Sunburst Monti!
  7. BC Efflo 2.0
  8. Orange Tipped Stag

LOL well, it goes without saying that the Non beginner can also enjoy the pack to the fullest.:) certainly not exclusive to the newcomer

A true beginner question, does encrusted mean the top of the frag is fully covered? I'm reconciling my mental picture with the actual picture.

Looks like a great deal! If i was confident that they would thrive in my tank right now I would be all over it, I have a green slimer as my test acro before I add more...so far so good but only a few week in.

Encrusted means the frag has had time to heal. Here's a pic of a fresh cut from Battlecorals, Bleeding Moth aka, Shag Priority.

You can see the super glue that was used to attach the frag to the plug.

The frags in the pack shown here have grown over that super glue and are about the start encrusting the frag plug. Some would call that healed and starting to grow.

Great looking pack Adam! Looking forward to another Battlebox in the near future for sure!

Hey Adam just fyi, it's UWW Rainbow Sunburst Monti not starburst, common mistake ; )

Ah yes! very good thanks all for letting me know! I do remember that now. This one was really something when it first hit the scene.

100% yes. Please feel free to hit me up when you are ready to roll. looking good there!
Gonna have to +1 on this, dealing with some GHA atm but as soon as that's taken care of I'll be getting one of these (hopefully)! Would it be possible to swap out 7 and 8 for a couple of plating montis?
Edit: Or maybe some pocillopora or seriatopora? I'm a bit of a biodiversity nerd :p

Adam - Total side note, what salt do you use in your system? I know Jason Fox swears by IO. Just curious what your salt of choice is.

Great question and thanks for the post, I've been using Tropic Marin regular marine mix for going on 15 years now. I think really good salt.

Thanks for the info. In the new house I'm finally going to have my own little mixing station again, trying to determine if I"m going with IO, or another salt mix. I'll definitely throw this into the mix.

The current LFS that I buy from used AquaForest, and I know that hasn't been getting the best of reviews by a lot of the people on here, so I'm excited to switch over!

I have saved the picture of this pack...once I'm stable, I'm emailing you this picture and saying...SEND THIS TO ME!!

Still waiting on those wallpaper pictures ;-)
