Good chance it is. If so, they have small broods compared to other seahorses such as eructus. The easiest seahorse fry to rear are therefore benthic fry that are large and well developed at birth. Dwarf seahorses or Pixies (Hippocampus zosterae) fall into this category.
You may want to, in case set up a nursery tank and start hatching of Baby brine shrimp.
Reading up on rearing the fry seems easy enough. I do feed live BBS, enriched as well twice daily, so I am all set for that. I always have a steady supply on hand.
Looks like they can stay in the same tank as the adults and eat the same food. It's my first time so I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time
