What set ups are you guys using to qt your new coral? I have a lot of sensitive fish going into my main display and when that happens I plan on qting everything and anything that will make its way to my main tank. So I will need a set up that can support this for 72 days to make sure no parasites make there way into my main tank.
This set up will not house fish!
Please show me your set ups, maintenance, etc. the more detail the better.
Thank you in advance.

It's not much detail, but I will get this to quarantine corals and frags. It's a little more expensive than just the basic aquarium, but I like what I see.
It's JBJ rimless frag tank.

The point is I will need something permanent as the corals will need to stay in there 10 weeks fallow and I know I will be buying something at least every 10 weeks or less. So I to thought about an all in one nano style. But it will need to sustain acros as that is my coral of choice.

That JBJ frag tank might do but it is costly. You can use whatever light you want on it. I am sure I probably will get it if I ever get started. It's a luxury, and I haven't had too many luxuries in life yet. Lol

I had a 29 sitting around with a stand and black box light. Added a baffle, top overflow, drilled a hole down low in the baffle and added a 250gph pump. It pumps water into the large section of the tank and overflows back into the pump section. Mounted egg crate in the large section raised up fairly high in the tank to put frags on. A small heater and good to go built of spare parts with no expenditure. Does require a half gallon of top off water daily.

Honestly any tank with proper filtration can be used to QT and for frags you'll need proper lighting and for SPS a skimmer
