Just drilled this today and grabbed a few things of pvc. All the holes are 1 3/8”. The overfill is 1” pvc all the way to sump.
The return is 3/4” vinyl tubing, connected to pvc at the tank.
Was thinking about using male and female adapters with a gasket for diy bulkhead. Will this work with my hole sizes? Or what do you recommend to seal it.

IMO i would have put a inlet box with weir teeth to stop snails etc blocking the pipes. Then you could just silicone a glass box on the exterior to run the drain. I think this setup will be hard to keep quite

So shorten the 90°s to beneath an interior box glued to the tank, then a glass box on the exterior with holes on the bottom for the drain pipes?

there are a million ways to do this..seeing you have already drilled the holes I would make a acrylic box with teeth for the inside and a glass box for the outside for the drains.. these are just some quick examples I googled

I am all for diy but making your own bulkheads with pvc fittings seems like a bad idea. They don’t provide very much surface area for making the seal.

Here is a DIY overflow I made for a 75g this spring, glass is pretty easy to cut and silicone, if I was going to do this over, I would use 3/8ths for the bulkhead plate instead of 1/4, The weir is cut from sheet acrylic. I love DIY, but anytime I attempted a bulkhead, it leaked, so I learned to just buy them, they are not that expensive.
