I need some advice, I woke up this morning to find my small (2 inch) rectangular trigger stuck to a powerhead. I shut off all power to the tank and he was having a very hard time swimming and was floating around the tank. I removed him and he is now laying on his side and breathing heavy. I have noticed he hasn’t been eating for the past 2 days and his abdomen does appear to be a bit bloated.

My local fish store is closed today and I am limited to Petco and PetSmart for medication.

Thank you all for the help

Sounds like fish is weak and moribund and will likely not eat or swim normal moving forward and deteriorate further
Resume some form of oxygen which may not help but worth a shot

Thank you
Update:

Sadly my trigger passed away yesterday in my hospital tank. Since then I have done several water tests and everything was normal my only guess would be that he got stung by my fox face who regularly displays his spines during feedings.
