Red Sea KH test

I have the Red Sea Reef Pro kit, but the KH solution is expired. I also have a new Red Sea test kit which has a KH solution, but only accurate to the whole dKH. Can I use that solution with the syringe from the Pro kit or do I need to buy a Red Sea Pro reagent?
