Red Sea Skimmer hight not matching sump

In my Red Sea reefer 350 I put a red sea skimmer, but the waterlevel is to high if I watch the red mark on the skimmer. Is this a problem?

You will probably have difficulty tuning the skimmer. If so, you will need to build some type of stand beneath the skimmer.

Doesnt the 350 have an adjustable gate before the return pump chamber?

edit. where the sponge bubble trap is. Should have two thumscrews (that you can loosen to raise or lower the gate.

Maybe the newer models I have a pretty old tank
