Reef Breeders Photon 50-V2 Pro LED Light Fixture

I have a 72.5x18.5x23.4 125g tank at the My question is will the Reef Breeders Photon 50-V2 Pro LED Light Fixture be able to cover the tank sufficiently? I am going to hang the lights from the ceiling, height from tank not determined yet.

I plan on only keeping SPS (center of the tank) and LPS on the sides with maybe some zoas on their own separate rock island.

It’ll be fine if you hang it 18-24” over the water. The closer you get, the more significant the falloff will be on the ends.

^^this ^^ that light should be perfect on a tank that size (18" front to back) I have a 36 and a 24 and am really happy with them. I did add a 24 inch t5 hybrid to the 36 but that tank is heavy with sps frags and I already had the hybrid fixture laying here.

Might as well add what reefbreeders says..

The Photon 50-V2 Pro is ideal for 48″-60″ long sps or mixed reef tanks.


They can also be used on 72″ fish only/mixed reef tanks with an 18″ mounting height and some low light areas on the far ends.
