Finally had a video call with Reef Kinetics. Turns out, my unit shipped without the set-up instructions (how do you know what you're missing?) and the video-blog set-up I followed neglected to include adding magnets to the RO and color test chambers. Hady figured this out (since the pH test worked) and I have now re-run Nitrate and gotten a real response. Looks like problem solved!

Patrick flat blocked me after all I wanted to do was make things right! Then claims the bot was functioning properly when he shipped it, I think not.
If it was why would you block me for asking for help? Not to mention I sent a bunch of pictures showing the damage not even howers after delivery to me.

I do believe the damages most likely happened during transit, but that can't be proven. And seemed very fishy that you block me.

Patrick USED to be the one in the FB group to swoop in and "white knight" any posts who would question, or give an alternate perspective, on Reef Kinetics design or software choices. He would then say you were "whining" and block you. Guess it helped him feel better to get the last word, especially when you would point out his flaws in logic and bias.

Ironic on how he jumped ship after talking up the bot and how amazing it was. Yet he is still lurking in the RK forums
