I have 72" 125G tank, 40G breeder sump refugium. I'm attempting to start a reef/fish aquarium. Read total flow should be 10- 15x Display tank volume, but I want the water to slow filtration. Currently I got 2- 1200 HOB dual 1", and a hygger 25w 2380 gph wave maker, and want 2 single wave makers, and run everything on lower power. Hoping for longevity. Ì was thinking of 800 gph at 60-70%. Any opinions? Constructive criticism?

I think you want 3x to 10x flow through the sump. Tank flow can be 20x to 40x depending on the coral you have.
