How can I clean out the 10g fish QT of copper enough to trust it for a coral qt?

I’m just realizing One salt water tank means not 1 but 2 QTs too. And they’re long term settings. Because of that I’d like to do a little nicer fish qt, so we can actually enjoy them around the house - maybe different size aio and then reuse the 10g for the coral?

Bad idea, or manageable? Also is it harder to keep a coral tank stable than the fish?
