Went to clean off some salt creep on the corners of the cube today.. there was a little build up on one of the corners, hadn't wiped off in two weeks or so. Anyhow I made one pass with a damp microfiber towel and this bit came off clean..

Tank is an Aqueon 14g cube. I had been outta the hobby for a while now when I purchased this tank on a bit of a whim.. wasn't till weeks after setting it up and cycling that I thought to read up reviews about its structural integrity, they werent all bad but enough to raise concern. Now I'm beginning to see how bad for myself.

What do you think Reef2Reefers? Should I even bother trying to silicone or glue something like baking soda over it or just work to replace it soon? What do?

How long do I really have before it really hits the ceiling or floor rather.. :confused-face:

I wouldn’t give that a second thought. At most tape over it and fill the void with epoxy but only for cosmetic reasons if it bothers you.
