I just picked up a used 150gpd brs RODI system. This includes 2, 75gpd RO membrane canisters.

Replacing all the filters. Trying to decide if I should get 2 ro membranes. Or save the $40 and remove one of the RO stages to make it 75gpd. I will be most often only making 25 gallons at a time.

Do I really need the 150gpd? Or will the extra cost of the RO membrane, and flushing each time make it not worth it. Plus running through carbon and sediment filters faster with all the extra flushing…

75GPD would be just fine. If you were making hundreds of gallons at a time the 150 would be better, but if the tank is up and running and you're doing 25 at a time the 75gpd would be sufficient
