Hi all,
I sent in some ATI ICP test and they also test your RODI water along with your tank water. I know you are supposed to take the sample direct from your RODI line but because I have 5 different systems, I took several different samples. The one that is concerning me is the one that I took from my RODI holding container.
I have a 200 g drum that I keep RODI water in and I took the sample right from this container. Everything looks normal except I am getting a high reading of silicon. Is this level something to be concerned about? Is my poly drum leaching out silicon? Its about 6 months old and has been drained and filled many times by now.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I am still waiting on the results from directly out of the RODI line but the last time I checked this, I had 0 silicon out of the RO and a high level in the drum like I do now.

TIA

Possibly...but it could be from your rodi unit. No way to tell unless you test the di product water before it gets to the drum.
