It's finally time to start adding water to the tank! I would like to introduce corals as soon as the parameters are right. I've seen reef salt/coral salt and I've also seen just regular salt. Should I use the reef salt to begin my tank or just regular aquarium salt? I've got a 45 gallon tank if that makes a difference

I don't think that salt mix choice makes a significant difference among the main brands.

I always used Io in the past (17 years ago) but did not have corals, so this go around I chose IO Reef Crystals knowing I would have corals this time.

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
