My friend bought me these, only about 5 polyps open and I have been brushing off the dead tissue. It is in a high flow area as well to prevent dead tissue build up. What else should I do for it??

Ya I was thinking about just removing the good ones and getting rid of the rest. They look pretty dead to me.

if you can seperate them to a QT tank to prevent the spread of zoapox, you might be able to save most of them.

i've been somewhat categorizing anything that kills my zoas as "zoapox"... lolz, there were two different types of 'pox' that i went through in the past. one looked like what you posted above, which had very little survival rate, and the other is the one similar to the ones posted on zoaid, which looks like white bumps on the body of the zoas. furan2 was more effective on the type 2 ime

wow. those look pretty thrashed. i'd put them down somewhere and just let them be. maybe some tissue will survive and you'll get some regrowth, but IMO they look pretty far gone... IME the less you mess with'em the more likely something will make it. Gluck...

See, that is what I was saying about my zoas... Single polyps on some frags or colonies would develop that pinch.. and then they would shrink and die.

I'm sorry to say but it seems to me that those zoas are on their way out... you can possibly try dipping them and putting them in a decent flow area... good luck with them.. :)
