So I have had some live rock baking in a trash can for 3-4 months, planning on selling it and I wanted to make sure it was completely algae free when I do, so it's been sitting in salt water in the dark. Well I don't like one of the rocks in my display tank so I started looking through the live rock in the trash can, well to my surprise there are still some zoas on one of the rocks! They are closed but still look to be in decent shape. I fragged as many off the rock as possible and put them in my frag tank. So my question is, what is the best method to try to get them to full recovery. I currently have them in low flow with just light from the room. Didn't want to shock them with tons of light since they haven't seen light in months.
