How old is your current tank? I'm probably about 9 months in on this system, so only 3 icp tests so far. I want to do the microbiome test next but waiting for the year mark or so
It's a couple years old. I only have 3 icp tests as well.

Even soda ash is weak compared to red sea alk. Just had to bump up dosing to 100 ml...red sea was 60. It still might not be enough. It is way cheaper though

Me too. But I better get better about checking my stickers. I think my first order had a squiggle on the back of a sticker but i didn't know about the sticker stuff at the time. It was my first order. Also cant wait for the new thread to open.

Just curious for those with bigger tanks, in a 125-150, anyone have more than one tang? Just playing around in my head with potential stocking lists for a future tank and wondering if you only have one tang does it lead to more aggression towards the smaller fish. I really like powder blue tangs, but I think they need a 180 or more, but curious if there was only one could it be ok.
My gem, yellow, desjardini and hippo get along fine in my 100

I have 4 tangs in my 120. Tomini, purple , orange shoulder , and Hippo tang. Some aggression between the hippo and orange shoulder but not bad at all. The hippo tang has always been the pain and aggressor.

I would like to get another tang, but hubby said enough fish and I prefer more corals.

My sailfin and foxface. Hard to get a pic because they're so fast.
My desjardini had HLLD when i got it from liveaquaria but it was so small at the time i thought it was just it’s pattern. I add aminos and vitamins to the frozen foods and they get plenty of nori but the HLLD hs never gotten better.

My first tang was my Tomini. After 2 months in quarantine, I put the carbon filter back in and forgot to rinse it first. She got HLLD really bad. I got her in the DT and started feeding her lots of Nori. Gave her the name Freckles. Took about 6 months to heal, but now she’s beautiful with no indication she ever had it. Hard to get a picture of her. She’s camera shy.

Sad when you see something like that. All my fishes are pigs. Whenever I come by the tank, they all think it's feeding time. I used to have a beautiful blonde naso with streamers for a long time, and she suddenly passed. Been thinking I should get a smaller one

Same here they get fed with auto feeders for 30 seconds every half hour between 8am and 8pm plus about 30ml of frozen food and alternate between a sheet of nori and 4 clams on a half shell every evening but they all swim around with pot bellies and act like they have never been fed in their life. I would like to get a blonde naso but my 30 x 30 x 30 cube is too small for that.

Gotta get another foxface when the new tank is up. My buddy wants to give me a big yellow tang when he resets his tank. Probably still have room for more but I like to keep it light
I like the yellow belly hippo tang, but I don't know about 2 in the same tank

My wish list is two Mocha Clowns and a Lineatus Fairy Wrasse. Just don’t think my tank is correct for them.
