The sun heats up the tank after passing through the window more than the AC cools it? Can you just do some blinds or a film on the windows?
I had a similar issue but it was the whole west side of the house in the evening. Two stories and walkout basement basically.

I put window tint on those windows and my AC runs less and that part of the house is much more comfortable.

So if @ReefMagnet doesn't want to blackout the windows that's an option.

My tank is in my office. It gets pretty warm however the ceiling fan is usually on. Doesn’t matter though when Bako summers are 100+

Think I’ll go the fan and chiller route. If the fan keeps it cool, I’ll just sell the chiller

I'm still so confused here. If a portion of a house isn't equally as cooled as another portion ya have a signifcant HVAC issue that can likely be remedied with a remote thermostat and a damper. The outside temp shouldn't impact an insulated and conditioned house to the point of needing a chiller.

My office is connected to my garage on one wall and the other 2 walls are facing the outside of the house. The ac cools it off quite well, however my wife “gets cold easily”

Iny case, 100+ years old one end, other end cheap 90's addition. The HVAC ductwork was not ducted correctly IMO, but still 3 stories directly baked in the sun, sliding glass doors, many windows, from 3pm till sundown. It gets hot.

I have tried IOT controlled vents, it helps, also use an ecobee and remote sensors, but the biggest help was tinting all the west side doors and windows.

South side of the house isn't bad, I do get some shade there also fewer windows.

Ohhh... You have that issue... I had one too, thermostat 80 in the summer and 80 in the winter and still has an electric blanket. But it's fixed now.
