Checked my phosphates this morning..... they were 1.2 ppm :anguished-face:

Got the reactor hooked up and pumping through some GFO now. I figured they would be high due to the move and die off/live rock movement
Ouch. I had mine spike recently after killing off all my algae with reef flux. Ironically it was mostly under control at 0.3 ppm but I started dosing lanthanum chloride which killed my zebra dart gobies who died in the rock work, spiking me up to 0.7 ppm. I'm finally back to 0.12 after adding some GFO.

Interestingly enough, all the corals looked fine. I noticed a few zoas not opening up like they normally do, so I checked as that's usually how I know. I should have set up the reactor when I moved the tank, however I forgot about it. All good now though

Be careful to not use too much GFO or lower the PO4 too quickly.

Did you use Lanthanum designed for pools?
