Hi All,

I'm a noob when it come to Marine but want to learn as much as I can.

I bought a used nano tank a few months ago with the below Zoa in it. Can anyone ID it? I was getting pretty scared of everything I've read about Palytoxins. Having searched around I thought it maybe a Moon Polyp but I'm only guessing. Note the whole grouping is about 3" across.

thanks!

I’d personally toss them, not worth it
why would you toss them?

OP, they're not that scary, biggest thing to worry about is when the toxin gets airborne. usually by literally cooking the rock to clean it. (actually boiling it on the stove) Under normal circumstances you'll have no issues. Rubber gloves are always recommended in a reef anyway, theres a bunch f things that can poke you.
