Hey everyone! I am fairly new to this site but I'm already in love! Ive only been reefing for about a year but my father has been keeping saltwater fish for almost 10 years.

Any ways here is my setup. :)
I have a 180 gallon mixed reef with a 75 gallon frag/grow out tank.
The 180 has been set up for close to 10 years!
Lights- 3 Ocean Revive T247
Skimmer- Unknown but its huge
Sump is made of two 50 gallon rubber maid totes.
One of those totes is a refugium.
Flow is created by four return nozzles
Fish- Purple Tang, Yellow Tang, 2 Clownfish, mated pair or Mandarins, Shark Nose Goby, 5 assorted damsels, and last coral Beauty but I'll be taking him out soon due to nipping at my Zoas.
And thats is folks, super simple

The 75 frag tank measures 30 x 48 x 12.
Lights- 2 Ocean Revive T247
Skimmer- SWC 160 cone skimmer
Flow- RW-8 WP-25 WP-10
Mostly full of SPS and Zoas right now.
Fish- Yellow tang to help with algae
I keep both of my systems pretty simple
I use an apex on my frag tank to control absolutely everything and I love it! The controllability is amazing.

Great looking systems!

What return pump do you use?

Honesty I have no idea what size or make the pump is[emoji23] I bought it so many years ago. I just told the LFS what my water volume was and that was the pump he said I needed. It's worked ever since without a problem!

are you sure that is a 180? looks huge lol...looks bigger than the 180 I used to have
Haha yeah I'm sure it's a 180, bought it brand new :) The goal with my aquascape was to add as much depth as I could so I guess it worked! Went with the traditional rock wall look but with lots of little "islands" popping up near the front giving it depth. :)

Picked up some new sps! Two wild pieces and a frag of Oregon Tort! I've been looking for some Oregon Tort for a while and I finally scored a solid piece! Love the wild neon green sps also! These phone pics don't even come close to doing them justice. One of these days I'll get a nice camera to take pictures lol!

Alright, time for a little update.
I've been struggling to color up my SPS in the frag tank and decided that it is due to undetectable nitrates and phosphates. So to help with the issue I am only running my skimmer at night to help slowly raise the nutrients in the tank. I will let you know how it goes! I also learned that my display is 100% self sufficient in its calcium and alk needs. I have never dosed the tank and its levels are constantly at 500ppm Calcium and about 7 dkH. now tim for some pictures :)

Well the anemones are doing well and look happy :) had one split into three parts so now I have two new anemones. Picked one a rainbow anemone so now I've got 4 different variation. Other than that, not much else has changed. other than the fact that I'm obsessed with zoa!!! :)

Well done! I had a 180 with that same principle!
