Here's the one I built:

Stand
7 stand.jpg

Canopy
8 canopy.jpg

Whole thing (pic was from last year)
10 FTS 3 - 16 -13.jpg

Since then I've built a couple of smaller ones for other tanks I've set up.

...but here's the one I drool over...hope Ben doesn't mind me sharing the pic from his build thread:

This thing is AWESOMENESS!

I hope the original owner of this doesn't mind, but I am having this exact thing built for me as I wrote this.

Just finished this one for my sister's 30 gallon cube. Painted white and distressed. It is my first stand so I'm pretty proud of it.

I made mine out of Birch (ext) and Maple (int). It has doors on three sides and a dry area allocated for electronics. Not as ornate, but it was my first go..

This is my own personal stand built by myself, octo is hand cut, stained glass behind using tank lights, bottom lit by fuge light.
I built a 2x frame and the cabinet is freestanding, I canslide the whole thing out to get to gear if needed, w/out any obstruction.
Wood is African mahogany.

Wow! That stand is awesome! Great job on the hand carved octo!

Here is mine. Built by me for our new 66 gallon tank. The top is 1x6 same as the front. I'm bedded magnets hold the front on. Still need to finish paint and then do the left side.

Here’s an example of a peninsula stand I recently completed. This is my first adventure in to the saltwater world. All the panels are actually removable for full access on both sides. I did this in lieu of doors for easier access.
awesome diy stand !!

Still in the works. Built this stand and canopy from scratch. I used 4x6's, 2x6's and 2x4's. The skin is 1/2 finished ply with some trim amd molding. I painted this a dove white chaulk paint and added 2 coats of wax. The inside of stand and canopy are sprayed with rustoleum and have a layer of poly to seal them. I still need to add 2 doors to stand. Thanks for sharing all of these great shots. Hopefully ill begin to add water and livestock next weekend.

Here is my T-slot stand. 48W x 37H x 29D. Lift off doors on front and sides. ATO/mixing station on left, sump on right. 18mm acrylic for top. Trimmed with instant granite.

Killer sump area!

Here is the stand I built for the 40 Breeder set up I'm working on. It's a 40 Breeder on top with the back wall about 3.5" off the back for the overflow/fuge behind it and a 40 breeder on the bottom as a sump/frag tank. The fuge will have a 8-10" sand bed and part of the sump will too.
