I have my first 55 high Reef system since Christmas . First had salts 40-plus years ago but was FO. I searched as many Aquascape pictures as I possibly could to get ideas . I had a piece of cardboard the size of the base and worked from there.Still looking for ideas to scape my 200DD, and want to see more scapes to "inspire" me. Post up your scapes you think look awesome. I still like the "bonsai" inspired ones, but anything is welcome.

Nice... really like the flat rocks, where did you get it from or did you build it yourself? Thanks. Some amazing scapes in this thread!
My tank is no where near as large as the 200DD, but I’m a fan of the “old school” two island look. For the record it was very new school a couple years after I started the hobby. Here’s the scape I started in my current WB 180.5
This looks AMAZING!!Just finished the aquascape for my new 720! Any suggestions?
Beautiful scape... may I know where you sources the different type of rocks? And what method/technique you used to glue them to strongly stay in place? My new build November 2020, 84x34x27
Used E-Marco-400 Cement and covered cement seams with sand. Used a flat base piece to build from and supported structure with rock piles during cement curing. PVC for height reference.
Plywood the size of the tank foot print to plan out the scape
