My 180G has a purple tang and a PBT. Both pretty small... The purple is around 2" and the PBT is about 2.5".

Will I be okay with a yellow belly blue tang? Should I get a larger one or smaller one?

My previous 180G, I had the same trio combo and the blue tang was the big bully of the group. Thats why I was going to introduce him last.

If not good, what other options in terms of tangs?

I broke down and got a 3 inches Blonde Naso today. So far he is doing OK. He was at Petco for 2 weeks. He is so beautiful. I wonder if I make a mistake. I afraid he will get too big for my 320. Last picture just now sleeping

Awe! I remember when my naso was that small. I am working to get 300 gallon plumbed. Got it so I could keep mine! Her name is Gemma! She wasnt mine originally, I was just caring for her but things happened and now shes mine. Beautiful fish, didnt want to surrender her if I could help it! Shes happy in my 125 for now (shes not huge yet) but I cant wait to her her and the others in the 300 gallon!

How long have you had her? My tangs kinda grow really fast. I wonder if I can keep him less than 6 inches for a long time ?

What type of tang is in the second picture? I have a small one very similar colors forming and have no idea what he is.
I believe its an Atlantic blue tang changing from juv colors to adult

My Blonde Nas is doing fair. He is eating but not as much as I like. No disease. His fins are healing from the harassment of the resident tangs. He is out of the rock work 100% of the time. Just eat food floating in the water and does not pick at the rock or algae clips at all.
I hope he will eventually pick at food not floating in the water.
