I installed a BM Curve 9+ yesterday. After getting it running I notice it leaking where the collection cup and body join. I cleaned the o-ring and looked for damage. I didn't see any damage. Is there some safe silicone I can put on there?

do you have a tear or split in the o-ring?

if you're getting water pouring out like that you most likely have the water line set too high in the skimmer.

even if the o-ring is damaged there shouldn't be that much water coming through. that section of the skimmer should be above the air/water line.

can you lower the internal water level (open the gate) ?

the air/water line may take a while to be visible since it is a new skimmer and needs to break in.

once it settles in, if you look closely you'll see a fine line forming through the skimmer wall that separates the wet-turbulent lower section and the dryer, larger bubbles that bind together and rise up above the lower mixing chamber. That's the foam head ;)
