Hello,

I recently aquired a skimmer. Its old but seems like it could work good if I could just keep it from overflowing. It is the 250 on this web bage (at bottom of page)

http://www.pro-clear.com/skimmers.html

It skims good the just starts filling the cup up with water (slightly scummy). It froths like crazy but again it always starts good then withing the hour just fills the cup up with green tea water.

ANy idea's? Can I put some sort of valve on the thing? The air hose is wide open and that doesn't seem to help. Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have a CPR bak pak on the fuge that works fine. And I don't run them at the same time.

skimmer

Sounds like you may have the water level too high in the skimmer.Sometime my euroreef does that and I have to lower the water level and shut off most of the air until I get it under control again.

THanks. I have the outlet pushed all the way down to make the water at the lowest point. I have the air wide open. I'll try adjusting that and see what happens. Thanks for the insight.
