Some kind of nest on my palys... is this bad?

Something has built a nest under my paly... does anyone know what this is? Should I remove it??

Pineapple sponge. Good filter feeder

+1 on the sponge, but since it's growing on the coral you may want to watch it as it could possible grow over them. If that happens just cut the sponge back and you should be fine.
