I couldn't find anything on how much current these draw when powered via 9-23 VDC and used as simple contact closures rather than supplying power to loads, so I busted out the multimeter.

It's important to note this only applies to the R3. Previous versions had a wider input voltage range (5-25 I think), and likely different current usage.

My setup consists of a Klein mm700 multimeter set to measure the mA/uA current range, typical 12VDC wall wort with the positive leg cut & the meter leads inserted in series with the leg, and a 4chpror3.

At 12.08VDC, the maximum draw I saw is 213.4mA with all 4 relays activated and the unit searching for a WiFi connection.

Each individual relay appears to account for roughly 40mA of current @12VDC. Which may be relevant if you're using the unit in interlock mode.

The standby current draw with the unit searching for WiFi and no relays activated bounced between 44 & 46mA.
