This morning, the tip of a stalk on a recently acquired pectinia colony appears to have broken off and is hanging down. There's some coral flesh holding it on but it's swaying in the current and I expect it won't last this way. Is this self-fragging or did it somehow take damage overnight? Assuming it detaches, set up the tip somewhere and see how it does? Thanks!
