So I finished attaching the bottom on my sump today, and I wanted to get a consensus before putting it into service. I've built a couple of acrylic mounts for probe holders as well as float switch mounts. Is there a "best practice" for where to install these?

I built the sump to have an adjustable water height in the skimmer section. Because of this, I'm not exactly sure at what height I should install the probe holder. I can always raise the skimmer if I install it too high, but I'd like to get it right the first time.

Same deal for the float switches for my high and low alarms. I'd like to do away with the hang-over-the-side float holders that I've been using for a long time now. Too much chance of it getting bumped or something.
