Just got an aquatic life led/t5 fixture and I was wondering what the best t5 bulbs would be for my system? I have to radion gen3 pros that I’m putting into this fixture. There is room for 4 bulbs that are 4 feet long.

I have mostly sps with some lps and would love to hear what y’all would recommend.

Thanks!

Nick

There are two combinations that I recommend
First one being the one I also currently use
Two Actinic and Two Blue+

the other setup is
Two Blue+
One Coral Plus
One Purple Plus

Both setups have been shown to have positive results.
I like to use the first one and then let the LEDS cover the whiter spectrum :)

Keep in mind that nobody can tell you what will work best for your system, only can give recommendations. Every system is different so what may work amazingly for one person may not pan out for another ;)

+1, I'm doing exactly what you are at the moment, SPS in particular seem to like it very much. More than enough white light from the Radions, even with white/red/green turned way down.

I started with 2 Blue Plus, 1 Actinic, and 1 Coral Plus, but found that configuration, plus the LEDs, to be just too white.

I'm actually thinking of going to all Blue Plus, or 3 Blue Plus and 1 Actinic.

was running 2B+ 2 C+ with Hydra 26s for the last year. Swapped up this year to 2C+ 2 Actinic. Liking the results.
