Hi All -

I have a 6 x T5 light fixture. I wanted some of that shimmer that led's give off, so I added a 48" Reef Brite Actinic Blue Pro, expecting that would help.

https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/actinic-blue-lumi-lite-pro-led-strip-light-reef-brite.html

When I have the T5's and LEDs on, I can barely see any shimmer.

When it's just the LEDs, the shimmer is there.

Figured I'd be able to see the shimmer when both the T5 and LEDs are on.

Did I make a $200 mistake?

T5's do drown out alot of the shimmer. I know when I was running my Kessil (the shimmer king IMO) and then added my T5's alot of the shimmer went away.

Lots of people have commented that T5's do this.
