Need some help dialing in the kessil ap9x settings. Tank is 32x20x20 has 1 mp40 at the moment with about 20-25 pounds of live rock. Starting the tank off with LPS and slowly adding some SPS. This would be my first mixed reef tank. I did order a par meter but It won’t get here till next week. Anyone have a similar tank size and would like to share their current settings. Tank will start off with LPS and soft corals.

I run the AP9x on my tank, it is ~20 inches deep as well. You can either crank it up to 100% and mount it a bit higher, or do what I did and run it a bit lower in both intensity and height off the water. I run mine at 65% in a daylight spectrum for 10 hours a day. You’ll want 300-500 PAR up top for your SPS and no more than 200 on the sand for LPS. Here’s my lighting setup and a link to my display tank thread if you want to take a look for comparison:

My tank is 36 x 18 x 18, AP9X is about 10" off the surface of the water rocks top out at 9" below the water form the most part. At 40% intensity I've got 350-400 PAR at the top of my rocks and 200 in the sand. The sand is 2-3" deep in most places...

Nice! Tanks are similar, I have mine at 30% rn but won’t know the actual par till my par meter gets here. It’s a good start appreciate your input
